Before the war, he fell victim to a brutal anti-Semitic attack, in which his ear was almost severed. Like his brother Icchak Ignacy, he married in the ghetto. He lived with his brother Froim at 12 Gęsia Street. One day in 1942, he went with his wife to his in-laws’ for Shabbat, and neither of them ever returned.
