- "At nine in the morning, we saw the train. It was a train from Mrozów to Treblinka. We saw our parents in the carriages. They were reaching their hands through the bars, waving goodbye to us. We were maybe 40-50 steps away from the tracks. We couldn't do anything. We knew what awaited them. Standing helplessly, we watched as the train departed, carrying our parents, our younger sister Kajla, and the entire community of Siennica to their deaths."
