Notes
She was mother of Artur Arnold (Stanisław Zawistowski) and was taken together with her daughter-in-law and her granddaughter. She came from a wealthy family, her father had a clock warehouse in Warsaw. She had four sons: Alexander, Maksymilian, Leon Józef and Artur Arnold. She and her siblings were hiding in a shelter at 20 Grzybowska Street. They were found during the liquidation operation and were shot on the spot. Stanisław Zawistowski recalls that when he returned from work outside the ghetto that day (from the so-called outpost), he found his apartment empty and learned that his loved ones had been "rounded up" during the daily raids and taken to the train cars, meaning their deaths.
