He was a trader, a poet, a journalist, an editor and publisher of Tomaszów periodicals, a researcher and a promoter of Polish literature, a caricaturist, a painter, a member of the Krakow group "Niezależni" [Independent]. He was deported and murdered in Treblinka, probably in 1942.
