- Notes
- He studied textiles in Belgium after World War I. In Częstochowa, he was the technical director at the "Warta" paper factory. After the liquidation of the Częstochowa ghetto, he remained in a labour camp. In the winter after the liquidation of the ghetto, he sent a request (to his daughter and her Polish carer) for warm socks because his feet were very cold. This was the last sign of life from him; it is believed that he died of starvation or was shot.
