- According to one account, her sister died in Treblinka. According to another, she was at Majdanek, where she worked in the kitchen. She performed a heroic act: when Sister Stella was put on the list for the gas chamber after being flogged, Lutka exchanged camp numbers and uniforms with her. As a result, Stella was sent to the Skarżysko-Kamienna labour camp, while Lutka remained in Majdanek, where she perished.
