- Notes
- Aunt Dopcia was one of my father's sisters. She had an import shop in Włochy near Warsaw. As we went in, I said to Daddy 'Oh, how it smells here!' [...] Aunt Dopcia, (or Dwora, I suppose, biblical Deborah), was quite a fluffy woman, with laughter and jokes quite coarse. But I loved her very much. They had two sons, of draft age in 1939 and 1938, Zewek and Hylek.
