- Notes
- "After two days we arrived at Treblinka. We were driven out of the wagons. The order was given: men to the right, women and children to the left. In the confusion I lost my wife and children. Later when I was standing in a group of men, my daughter Sarełe, 7 years old, whispered to me: 'Daddy, I don't know where mom is.' And I, in this great confusion, sent her to the second group, where there were women, to look for her mother there. She left and I did not see my family anymore. in the evening they were burned."
