Notes
He was an architect and designed houses throughout Śródborów, where he lived with his wife Matilda and daughter's Henryka and Halina. He also made drawings - projects of the Sejm [Polish Parliament]. Henryk's daughter was hiding with a Pole, husband of one of her aunts, and Halina died along with her parents. He was probably taken from the ghetto to Treblinka. "Everyone was gathered in the yard after a few days. A list of several dozen people was read and the rest were taken away. So my father and uncle Norbert Polak were deported."
