Doctor, psychiatrist and neurologist, director of the Department for Nervously and Mentally Ill Jews "Zofiówka", co-discoverer of type II conditional reflexes. "A well-known psychiatrist and head of the mental institution, Dr. Stefan Miller and his wife poisoned themselves. On the day of deportation, he fled from Otwock to Mińsk Mazowiecki. When the deportation arrived there, he killed himself by taking poison. During the war, Dr. Miller did a lot for 'Zofiówka'. This plant survived the most difficult period since its establishment thanks to his energy, dedication and persistence." [suicide]
