- Notes
- Taken from Otwock to build a camp in Treblinka. "A young boy escaped from the repair of the railway track workplace in Treblinka. When the Germans announced the missing Jew, they ordered a dozen from the line to be shot. My brothers were among them. My brother, Ruben, turned to the Germans, and asked them to leave at least one of them alive. The Germans did not even want to hear his request and the execution order was made on the spot. It was on the last day of Passover in 1942."
