Notes
Sara was a member of the group that joined the underground DROR. She was a teacher, distributor of the underground press and member of ŻOB {Jewish Combat Organization]. Together with Dawid Szulman and Berl Braude, on January 18, 1943, she executed Izrael Firszt. When the first uprising broke out, she was arrested and deported to Treblinka. "She was committed and brave, although she blushed in front of the boys. From Muranowska, together with Tema Sznajderman and Lea Perelsztajn, the police took her to the wagons. This happened during the January operation."
